CDG Architects has an unmatched history of experience in the renovation and remodeling of existing buildings. The firm is committed to improving upon and enhancing existing facilities as desired by our Clients.  We are quick to see the value of maintaining the integrity of an existing facility while installing and blending the most current technologies into the existing infrastructure. A Client-centered firm, CDG Architects listens and readily responds to the concerns of the Client, chief among them being the desire to minimize disruption during construction. Through conscientious project management, maintenance of open and frequent communication between Client, Contractor, and Consultants, and close attention to facility users, we have achieved much success in assuaging the concerns of our renovation Clients.  CDG designed and supervised the construction of a new Obstetrics Department for Carondelet St. Mary’s hospital, adding a third floor to an existing two-story building again without requiring the facility to close.

CDG Architects have also been able to utilize our extensive experience to address other crucial issues that typically arise during renovation projects. The firm has been able to manage and supervise projects with concern for construction-related impacts on adjacent tenants and users. We have a distinctive reputation for designing new construction to have minimal impact on the existing structure.
